Looking forward to a pumpkin-guts-free Halloween without sacrificing all of the Halloween decor inspo? This DIY is so clutch!

For the longest time I wanted to participate in the act of carving pumpkins. I've gone pumpkin picking, costume shopping, door-to-door hopping, and pumpkin spice latte-ing. (Not to mention Halloweekend partying. Hey, I'm in college!) Anyway, I'm pretty sure my desire to gut the cold, orange flesh of our happily spooky friend was partly due to FOMO and maybe partly due to growing up on Halloween Town re-runs on Disney Channel. Eventually I did carve a pumpkin with a group of friends in a club I was in during High School (no the club had nothing to do with carving pumpkins... just planting them), and it was fun. But it's not an experience I plan on taking part in again for a long time. If you're like me and looking forward to a pumpkin-guts free Halloween, then the following DIY should come in handy.
Materials:
Nail Polish
Aluminum Pie Pan
PUMPKINS!

Directions:
1. Paint it. Slather that acrylic paint goodness on your pumpkins and set them aside to dry.
2. Drop it. Fill your aluminum pie pan with some warm water and add your nail polish a drop at a time in the center.
3. Swirl it. Use kabob skewer to swirl around the nail polish to create the marble-like design that will show up on your pumpkin.
4. Dunk it. Carefully dip your pumpkin into the mixture and gradually turn it to coat the outside with nail polish. Then set it aside to dry.
